Lies. :: General :: Announcements :: Rules Author Topic: Rules (Read 381 times) The Curse Administrator member is offline Joined: Feb 2007 Gender: Female Posts: 51 Karma: 0 Rules « Thread Started on Mar 5, 2007, 9:49pm » 1) First of all you are aloud to cuss in character on the site, but please try to not cuss very other word, because we have people that are younger than other people here on the site. 2) When your out of character sometimes it's good to use smiles and other things as well to help get your point across. We also will NOT take any type of prejudice to guests or other members of the site. It will not be tolerated for reasons that people may be offended. Also try not to do it all that much in character either. 3) If you are having an issue with another member or a guest, lead the conversation away from where other members and guests are located so you may sort it out, if we have to we will set up a password protected board for the both of parties to use to settle things. 4) Please no Marry-Sue characters or relationships! You know as well as I do that things to not go perfectly in the world, and here it should be no different. 5) When you create your character change your display name to the first and last name of your character, no lrv422 or anything like that when after the application is approved. 6) You should know that things here are rated PG-13 are aloud on the site since Pro-boards only ||put love as the rule word|| allows members that are 13 years of age or older. Things like sex are allowed just put a warning on the thread, and try not to get too detailed about it either or just scene skip it completely. 7) Killing or deaths of other characters will be allowed, but limited by admins. You also have to have your plan for the character's death to be approved by both the player of the character and an admin. 8) No spaming by PMs or by double posting on the boards. It is annoying to the other members as well as for the admins of the site. You will be warned only once about this, and will be banned if you do it twice. 9) When you are RPing you should have it in third person, and you should speak with " " or with the words in bold. Please don't use asterisks (*) to show actions. 10) Last of all, you should put effort into the things that your are posting, and one liners will not be accepted ||put it in red|| as trying if you do it all of the time. Try to do as much as you can without repeating information, and even add more things about the character if need be. The admins of the site DO have the power to ban you and we WILL if we have to. First offense in most cases will only cause you to receive a warning from the admins Second offense will cause your accent to be suspended for an amount raging to 2 to 4 days depending on the charge.
